New River Community Action Offers Free Income Tax Preparation

Are you puzzled by the tax law or which credits and deductions to take?  Need assistance with your tax return?  Richard Theobald, VITA Program Coordinator, announced today that New Rivers Community Action was offering tax prep help. 

"The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program at New River Community Action is offering free income tax preparation until April 15th.  This program is available to help low to moderate income (generally $40,000 and below) people.  It assists individuals and families that quality for tax benefits such as Earned Income Tax Credits and the Child Tax Credit."
