Volunteer Management Webinar on Tuesday, September 29th

The first 2009-2010 EITC/VIDA training Webinar will be Tuesday, September 29th during our Virginia CASH Campaign Fall Classic.  

 

Webinar 1 – Volunteer Management: Recruiting and Retaining Excellent Volunteers

Tuesday, September 29th, 1:30 p.m. Eastern (1 hour)

 

Webinar presenter Ivy Todd Sager is the Director of the Hanover County Department of Community Resources, which has served the County as a Volunteer Center since 1987 and remains focused on mobilizing volunteers and maximizing all available resources to address community needs.

 

 

Understanding current agency limitations on travel, we hope that many of you will be able to join this Webinar from your offices and will thus feel part of the CASH Campaign Fall Classic.

NCTC to Host Three Part Training Series on Volunteers

The National Community Tax Coalition is hosting three webinars on Volunteer recruitment and training:

"Volunteers are a big part of our tax sites operations. With out the assistance of our volunteers we would be unable to meet our organizations goals and missions. Yet, volunteer recruitment and retention seems to be a challenge year after year in the VITA community. This three part training series will look into to three different potential sectors for recruiting and retaining volunteers."
